Accepted Student Preview Day

Accepted Student Preview Day is an informative and celebratory event for admitted students to preview what life at CIA will be like for the next four years!

You'll meet faculty and learn about our academic programs and opportunities to earn credit through internships or courses that connect you with real-world projects outside CIA. Visit students' personal studios, and tour our extended campus, including the largest university-based maker space in the country, think[box], located within Cleveland's cultural hub, University Circle. You'll also be able to meet with our financial aid counselors to discuss your financial aid award.

At CIA, you'll see that we provide each student with individual studio space on campus; that our equipment—from printing presses and kilns to 3D printers and a digital screening room—is state-of-the-art; and that our neighborhood is the cultural hub of Cleveland. We’re a short walk to the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden. And we’re surrounded by the shops and restaurants of Uptown and the restaurants and galleries of Little Italy. 

Please bring a mask in case we are at a high level of COVID cases in Cuyahoga County. Staff and faculty may require facial coverings in their individual classrooms or offices. CIA supports anyone’s decision to wear a mask in any setting on campus.
